Information Management & Technology / Engineering Manager

Rami Hirsimäki (M.Sc.) has been appointed since 1st of September as Engineering Manager in charge of Deltamarin's new IMT department. Hirsimäki is responsible for strategic development of information management processes within Deltamarin Group covering also IT systems and infrastructure. Commercial target is set also to provide superior information management services for Deltamarin's selected marine and offshore customers.

Hirsimäki has worked in Deltamarin since 2001 as Engineering Manager in charge of Electric & Automation department. He will continue as a member in Deltamarin's Management Group and reports directly to Managing Director Mika Laurilehto. 

Information Management & Technology / Development Manager

Starting on the 1st of August, Lars-Johan Rehn (M.Sc.) has been apointed Development Manager at Deltamarin's IMT department with the responsibility of developing information management within the Deltamarin Group including development of strategic accounts and consulting. He previously held the position as Sales Manager at Kronodoc Oy.

At Kronodoc he was responsible for marine industry sales of the Kronodoc software system in the Nordic countries and Europe as well as development of the Kronodoc Marine solution intended for project collaboration and information management within company networks. He has also been active in business development tasks and was a member of the board during the years 1997-2001. Earlier Rehn has been working at CERN in Geneva and at the Centre for Scientific Computing in Espoo gathering thorough experience within the field of information technology and computer aided design.

Electric & Automation / Engineering Manager

Kari Valkeejärvi has been appointed since 4th of September as Engineering Manager in charge of Electric & Automation department. Valkeejärvi shifts from Wärtsilä Finland Ltd / Ship Power Solutions where He worked as a project engineer. He also becomes a member in Deltamarin's Management Group.

At Wärtsilä Corporation  R&D department  Valkeejärvi was in charge of Marine electric and automation development while duties in Ship Power Solutions covered Turnkey deliveries for the customers and technical support for 50DF and project works.  Extensive maritime background covers also Automation Systems Responsible works at Yard as well as design-,  project-  and supervisor works at consulting engineering office.
