As part of the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project led by Equinor and partners Shell and Total, Deltamarin has signed a contract to support the energy majors in LCO2 vessel design and environmental optimisation. CCS will be an essential part of reducing carbon emissions and reaching global climate targets.

New ferry design contract for Deltamarin
Deltamarin has signed a contract with Rauma Marine Constructions Oy (RMC) for the design of a LNG-fuelled car passenger ferry for Kvarken Link AB. The commission covers basic and detail design services for all hull and machinery areas.
Deltamarin’s further involvement in Titanic II project confirmed
Blue Star Line has contracted Deltamarin to continue with the design of Titanic II. The contract covers activities and tasks for the design process, consultancy and project management services. Deltamarin will provide Blue Star Line with outline design services including finalising and modifying the existing design to comply with the latest rules and regulations.
Deltamarin continues work on Titanic II
Blue Star Line confirmed earlier this autumn that work on the Titanic ll ocean liner will continue. Deltamarin has now also recommenced the work on the project by first reviewing the project. We will also be responsible for coordinating the various parties involved in the rebuild.
Deltamarin and Elomatic to design second Global class cruise ship for MV WERFTEN
Deltamarin and Elomatic, both from Turku Finland, have signed a significant agreement with MV WERFTEN Wismar GmbH for the basic and detail design of a second Global class cruise ship. The value of the contract is approximately €16.5M for Deltamarin and €17M for Elomatic.
Project Forward paves the way for meeting IMO´s reduction on CO2 emissions
The Project Forward initiative led by Athens-Based Arista Shipping, with Deltamarin as one of the participants, demonstrates that with LNG as fuel, an advanced hull design and highly efficient propulsion machinery, it will be possible to meet the IMO’s target for a 40 percent reduction in carbon intensity by 2030.
Deltamarin to design Expedition Mega Yacht for Norwegian Yacht Voyages
Deltamarin has signed a contract with Norwegian Yacht Voyages AS for conceptual design and consultancy services for the energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly M/Y Caroline expedition mega yacht project. Deltamarin will provide conceptual design together with selected architect partners, covering the development of the technical design and documentation.
