Deltamarin takes a step forward in tanker design development
Deltamarin will take a step towards strengthening its offering in tanker (oil, chemicals and LNG) design development. We will develop new-generation products with high emphasis on safety, optimal performance and low carbon footprint. To support achieving these goals, Deltamarin has recruited Mr Mauri Harki to lead the new customer process for the tanker segment.

New ro-pax design contract for Deltamarin
Deltamarin Ltd has signed a contract with Chinese Guangzhou Shipyard International Co, Ltd (GSI) for consultancy and engineering services for the DFDS ro-pax ferries. This order supports Deltamarin’s strategy to further strengthen our position in the passenger vessel segment.
State-of-the-Art LNG Solutions for Long Ocean Voyages
Deltamarin together with Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has studied the use of membrane-type tanks on cargo and passenger vessels. A unique portfolio of cargo and passenger vessels has been created to save valuable cargo space compared to classic cylindrical-type LNG tank solutions and to enable the use of LNG for long ocean voyages.

Deltamarin signs contract with Rauma Marine Constructions to join the design team of Finnish Navy project
Deltamarin has signed contracts with Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) for the basic design of deck outfitting and machinery for the vessels to be built in the Finnish Navy’s Squadron 2020 project. The work will be done on the client’s premises in Rauma and Turku and will last until spring 2018.

Development of an intelligent approach to ship propulsion systems is a central aim of the joined research project that Deltamarin’s Polish branch is currently participating in.
