Hurtigruten ‘Nordnorge’ conversion
Coastal cruise vessel
Hurtigruten Nordnorge’s engine room configuration is totally made over including change of four engines, adding LNG and batteries as alternative fuels. The aim is to cut the vessel C02 emissions by 25%. Deltamarin provided the owner with concept development of conversion principles and basic design material for the conversion.
‘Tukuma Arctica’ & sister vessels
2,150 TEU container vessels for Eimskip and RAL
Icelandic Eimskip Ltd and Greenland-based Royal Arctic Line A/S ordered the first three container vessels based on Deltamarin’s energy-efficient and operationally optimised design. The ships are built at the Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard in China, with which Deltamarin (China) Co., Ltd signed a design contract.
‘Stolt Pride’ chemical tanker
The energy-efficient and operationally flexible chemical tankers are based on Deltamarin’s Ch.Delta38 design. Deltamarin provided design services for the Hudong-Zhonghua shipyard after developing the concept for Stolt Tankers.
Energy efficiency audits
Every vessel’s operation can be improved and operation costs reduced. Based on the continuous development work Deltamarin has so far conducted energy efficiency audits evaluated systems and operational issues of about 30 vessels for more than 10 shipowners.

Deltamarin provided the owner Wallenius Line with concept design, and the yard Tianjin Xingang with basic and detail design for the Hero class PCTC (pure car truck carrier) capable of carrying 8,000 CEUs.
