Change of Managing Director at Deltamarin

Janne Uotila, M.Sc., eMBA has been appointed Deltamarin’s new Managing Director as of September 1, 2017. Mr Uotila’s latest position was Director, Engineering and Concept Development at Deltamarin. Before that, he worked at Sandvik Mining as VP, Product Development and Global Technology in Finland and China.

Former Managing Director Mika Laurilehto explains his departure: “The order book of the company is now excellent and the company holds a strong position on the market. 12 years is a long time to lead an engineering company, and now is a suitable moment to go and look to new challenges.”

The company operations will continue unchanged. As a subsidiary of AVIC International Maritime Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Singapore Exchange, Deltamarin is subject to SGX listing rules and will not comment further on this matter.
